Celestial movement
across the skies
signal a transformation.
Buds form, morphing
blossoms and leaves.
Gaia awakes
from Her slumber,
tosses off
the last chill--
the dark half
of the year.
She feels festive, alive.
Adorning pastels that,
in a few months,
take on brighter hues.
Her children awake,
singing out,
pairing to raise
their young.
Celestial movement
heralds renewal,
reawakening.
