The Wonder Of Words

My first attempt at an internal rhyming poem. It contains two rhyming words in each line

Words to express will bring on success
To help make sense or stay in the tense
Glory or gory, they must fit the story

Words we disperse into verse, some diverse
Flowing nicely in time or sublime in a rhyme
For whatever we write should always be right

Words we select, perfect and correct
Adjectives enhance, like love in romance
Assist to convey, portray what we say

Words we contrive to bring writing alive
Prepositions, verbs, nouns and adverbs
Written in the right place to pace or give space

Words, exquisite when found, amazing to sound
From the dictionary, contrary or scary
In the Thesaurus we find quite a chorus       

Words forthright, can excite and delight
Penned not just to appease but to please
The right choice can make us rejoice
