The Lucky Goddess

A Goddess was at the brink of death but she eventually survived. ...

She gasps, suffocating to death
Trying desperately to ASCEND out of perdition.
She inhales suddenly then barely utters a sound.

Though the hemorrhaging is under control,
Her vital signs are unstable.
Momentarily she tries to catch a breath
And reflects on the TRUTH.

A fall from grace, another episode;
Her DESTINY is playing out in a dire situation;
Surviving the odds is her living HOPE.

Her soul can never die;
The gods must have pitied her.
She opens her eyes,
Steadfast-stares roam the room.

She regains normal respiration;
Now she will rule once more
On the throne of FREEDOM.
