Everlasting Love for Her

Dad I just don’t seem to understand her
I love her more that life itself
When I see her is the morning light
She is my miracle of my lonely life

When I come home sometimes she is crying
Then times she might be laughing like a little girl
Little things I do make her pout at me
Then she kisses me and I know she is truly mine

She puts little love notes inside my car
She never bothers me when I watch football
She is careful and proud of the work I do
Never wastes a dime on unnecessary things

She reminds me of mom sometimes
She has the look mom had when she saw you
I feel so blessed to have her in my life
I just am puzzled sometimes about her

I feel I should know what to do for her
Why are women so very complicated
After all this time I feel I should know
That’s why I came to you this day

Help me understand that lady of mine
I know she thinks of me every moment
Dad said don’t try to understand her
All you have to do is just love her
