A poem about the passion and spirit shown around Christmas time. |
| The most blessed truth ever witnessed, A bludgeoned and berated man Facing the most vicious, hurtful, And agonizing defeat – For He laid there naked, From head to toe, In sheer, disheartening shambles On that surreal and dreadful cross… A sin to be reckoned with for sure, For this was Our Holy Father’s decision; That His Mighty Son must perish So that we might extricate ourselves from sin, Adhere to His Sacred Word, the Bible, And enter His forever-resplendent kingdom. Many celebrate Christ’s birth, This joyful, gifted time Known as Christmas, While maintaining a wondrous passion And enlightened respect For this divinely spiritual holiday. |
