A childhood of activities, fun, and learning - a rhyming poem. |
| No parent needs to tell you, There's nothing new to harp on; Not a chore you ought to do, Your ball field has no tarp on. Homework's light, it's almost done, Your schoolmates like your jokes. Your favorite class is lots of fun, A smart one, it's no hoax! Lots of time spent with your friends, A week off, that's sublime; The hope for days off never ends, But just enjoy the time. Just be grateful you're a kid, That carefree time so right; You'll learn from those mistakes you did, And somehow see the light! Patience is a virtue, And working hard's the key - But growing up, we have no clue, Of who or what we'll be... |
