A prank on time--April fool. |
| The prank went bad and I was mad-- April Fool’s Day disaster! I tried to slow that timeless foe, but time proceeded faster. I heard the tick (time’s bailiwick), and it was ticking normal. I sidled by in torn Levi; I tried to be informal. I looked about and had no doubt; the hands of time persisted. Then part of me said let it be, yet prank inside insisted. I made my stand and grabbed the hand; the face of time abided. I pulled it down and heard a sound; the second hand collided. As I hung on, prank urge was gone; the second hand proceeded. Then my poor crotch became time’s watch; a catcher’s cup was needed. As time went by there came a cry; a cry along with kicking. I was a klutz with two sore nuts, and time continued ticking. 24 Lines [Rhythm: 8-7-8-7] Writer’s Cramp April 2, 2014 |
