They are out there, everywhere and just waiting to say "Hello!"

A friend can be found just about anywhere
At a camp, at a club or at a class
Be nice, but also be natural
You’ll be surprised at how quickly time will pass.
You don’t have to do exactly everything together
You don’t have to see her twenty-four hours of a day
And yes, you can do what you like at other times
‘cause a difference will not get in the way.
Once in a while she just needs you to listen
Her problem may be confusing or extreme
She needs a friend who is not rude or will judge her
You can understand her with compassion serene.
If a fight happens when she becomes bossy
Or breaks a promise one day
A shout in her face will not fix it
A calm talk for this is really the best way.
And friendship can be any number
It is two, four, seven or ten.
When the heart’s in the right place for everyone
The good spirit of friendship will win!
