United We Stand

This is a poem portraying my view of our country, America.

United We Stand

Oh! See the American flag,

From a beautiful tapestry to a rag.



You stretch across the land of the free,

Your vibrant colors do comfort me.



You stand tall with love and pride,

Always standing by our side.



In the nation, home of the brave.

Red, white, and blue will forever wave.



Old Glory will always shine, I see,

No matter how our lives may be.



Together we will go very far,

Each of the 50 states represented by a star.



With the fire of our hearts,

Along with our fathers, you were the start.



You will always be there to guide,

Following us with every stride.



You only wish to do us well,

The land where Freedom loves to dwell.



In the land that gave you birth,

A completed paradise on the Earth.
