frolic in a Saraband Sonnet |
| Inspired by Mother Nature's tunes from ocean surf or gurgling stream on sultry summer afternoons, a seagull joins some butterflies in joyful aerial ballet. They dance before my eager eyes above a daffodil bouquet. When summer spirits congregate on golden meadow, beach or mount, I always help them celebrate. Cicadas start their serenade, while fireflies flicker in the night, until a shower cools the glade. These summer vibes just feel so right. The Saraband Sonnet is an intriguing form based on an ancient Asian dance.
