It was 1979. I spotted the album Off The Wall in the store and decided to purchase it. I still have no idea why I did. Unlike my girlfriend
Nancy, I was no Michael Jackson enthusiast. I lay on my bed upstairs, listening to Michael pour out the pain and misery in this song. It was the first time I'd ever had a song move me to tears. Thank you, Michael.
