Rats

A poem about meeting a rat at home

Yesterday in my room,

I saw a very big rat.

So I put him on a plate,

And served him as breakfast to my hungry cat!

But it was not my lucky day!

The giant rat came back and gave me a big fright!

I took the dirty rat by his tail,

So he could not bite.

"Squeak! Squeak!" the silly rat shouted.

And he twisted and turned.

I threw him out of the window,

So that he could not return.

Then I found him back again

Early this afternoon

I think I need a way

To send him to the moon!
