An Outlook on the past

The sunlight's glare,
Shatters the dark,
         That hid his words.
The utterings
That left such fear;
         Struck deepest chords,
In one so young.
He took away
         A fragile mind.
Light shone again,
And hopes were raised;
         The day he died
