A knowing that should not be

I look in your eyes and I just know
It’s kind of scary what character shows
Some things familiar- should never be
You hear the laughter-you feel the breeze

Dark puppet masters and servants of Christ
Powerful feelings and horrible lies
I pray for protection- when I look in your eyes
I know the feeling- though I am not wise

Some seek the esoteric and so are ensnared
But the blood of the Lamb protects us from care
What sort attracts you; by what are you drawn
God gave the mind and created the dawn

Now since Eden this has never been safe
For it touches poison; the bite of the snake
Beware of your giftings, and voices so still
Test every spirit and guard your will
