A Wondrous Humanity

The nature of humans, the goal of perfection - a poem.

An option for all, 
To finish the project or task at hand -
To consider one's uniqueness 
As a potential hindrance,
And to devalue perfection
As a goal to limit mistakes.

Anything less than perfection
Is a mistake waiting to happen,
Which could have consequences
Given the flawed or somewhat failed state
Of things;
But limiting errors can have
A deleterious impact on the outcome,
And may ruin a person's health,
As well as how they go about
Their daily business. 

A less rigid, more confident style
Is not only a blessing,
But a celebration of events
Which develops a rapport
With active achievers.
