New beginnings

Fresh hope drives me, awash with vigor,
A new beginning waiting for acceptance.
Promises yet unspoken, beckon me
To rise to new challenges, to new possibilities.

Clinching fast to the rails, enjoying the ride,
I begin the rally, thrilled to the core.
No unknown scares me
As I face new encounters head on.

The light of each day sparks inside me,
Igniting the passion that stirs within.
I can do this, I can meet the dawn,
If only I could stop hitting the snooze.
