A Haiku Sonnet

New beginnings. Spring
has once more arrived in town,
for a little while.

Daffodils are here,
peeking out of the ground in,
a burst of yellow.

The fluffy fledgeling,
Waits to try its maiden flight,
but needs the courage.

Buds bring new life back,
to the trees, shrubs, and flowers,
waiting is over.

Hope blooms again with showers
blanketing the earth.
