Haiku Sonnet

new life bursting forth
oak sap rises budding leaves
dandelions bloom

robin red breast nest
sparrows nightingales singing
hungry fledgelings chirp

yellow pollen blows
charcoal thunderclouds gather
rain watered gardens

emerging monarchs
afternoon sun drying wings
milkweed butterflies

listen to spring's serenade
resurrecting hope
