A poem about Halloween - enjoy! |
| Pumpkins so richly carved In texture, color, and wonder; The costumes all the rage in today's epic And modern world; And enjoying delicious treats During a well-decorated, festive party... Family and friends partake in the most infamous And glorious designs During the creepiest occasions This Halloween season. The trick-or-treating of countless, Closely-watched children Enlivens a fun-filled day - The streets fall prey To thousands of pedestrians and motorists Ushering their clad youths To desired spots All over the portentous neighborhood... Inspections are followed By the much anticipated tasting and munching Of a host of delicious candies And chocolates, Obtained during the ghoulish reverie Each October. |
