That annoying number was finally useful. |
| Sometimes I wake up and find myself in situations that I didn't go to sleep in. Usually this is no worse than waking up on the couch in the living room. Today however, I woke up in an unfamiliar office. It was decked out in 1960's or 70's style equipment and furniture. Before me though was a keypad. The 1 was slightly lighter than the others. Feeling that this was a sign, I entered the number I had never written down, spoke alive or otherwise acknowledged that I was aware of. 2-1-3-1-9-1-7-1 A click reverberated through room as if amount of force used to move the mass was unnatural for most locks. In the distance I could hear what sounded like a klaxon going off. The door to the office was pushed open and in walked several nervous looking people. "L Ron?" Asks the woman in the lead. |
