The U.S. election and impeachment - a poem. |
| When matters preclude acceptance, The left instills rosiness and fairness In their designs... These architects Call for petulance To engage the far right In a never ending war. Love for their decisions Becomes break-even, Until the U.S. is once again The steward for the environment, equality, And privileged opportunities For our progressive earth. But ignoring these offers Seems an expletive-filled tirade; And the priorities which sustain The American way of life... Like checks and balances Mustn’t be warped against The will of the people, Who will determine The president’s fate This upcoming election. |
