Inner Outer Shield of Protection

A Corona Virus Poem

Inner outer shield of protection,
Is secure in its direction.
Worthy of trust that's safe and sound,
It's good enough, it's all around.

Throughout the house, you are protected;
It shows how much you are affected.
Use your alarm to keep you safe,
In a life that has caused us harm.

Corona virus, you're not welcome,
Get out of this world and don't come back;
Too many lives you have taken;
It's not fair, but we will survive.

Put on our shield of inner strength,
In our battle it will protect us,
Like a rock, our armor is strong;
Like an anchor, solid and firm.

Slipping away, you're not noticed,
You've done your damage,
You've done us wrong.
We will not weep, we will not fear;
Corona Virus, you are gone.
