A Corona Virus Poem |
| Inner outer shield of protection, Is secure in its direction. Worthy of trust that's safe and sound, It's good enough, it's all around. Throughout the house, you are protected; It shows how much you are affected. Use your alarm to keep you safe, In a life that has caused us harm. Corona virus, you're not welcome, Get out of this world and don't come back; Too many lives you have taken; It's not fair, but we will survive. Put on our shield of inner strength, In our battle it will protect us, Like a rock, our armor is strong; Like an anchor, solid and firm. Slipping away, you're not noticed, You've done your damage, You've done us wrong. We will not weep, we will not fear; Corona Virus, you are gone. Written By Anna Marie Carlson Monday, July 20, 2020 |
