The nation continues to chide
The president,
Sowing the popular seeds of distrust.

Americans showcase
Little sympathy for politicians;
Not a shred of competence
Predates this shadowy dilemma.

Meanwhile, the gravity of truth
Is now courageously purported -

A God-given freedom and right
To doubtless transparency,

And a treasured democracy
Highlighting faith and hope.

The torrid evil lurks,
Advocating a change in attitudes
And perfunctory decency.

Destined to righteously abolish
America’s historic goals.
