Father's Day Poem honoring God, the ultimate Father |
| When earthly parents forsake you, God will take you up. He is the ultimate father figure He inhabits our worship. We are adopted through Christ’s blood, And thereby cry, “Abba, Father!” He is aware when we shed every tear. He molds me like clay as he is the potter. Everything he does is for my good always He is very loving and compassionate, And is full of mercy and grace, Even when with sin I did machinate. He binds my wounds with healing balm, And wraps his loving arms around me. His presence makes me feel secure. He assures me that in Christ I am free. Notes ▶︎ |
