Victory might seem fretful,
Low, and distant. 

A jibe is certain
To aim
For the highly controvertible truth.

The Mighty One appears
To the weakened and distressed
With His sought after, healing powers.

The enlightened public
Can truly sense
The timeless and horrifying distrust.

And certain ageless promises
Are brought to light
In the routine juncture
Of the perilous, present day.

To smite the opposition
With a godly construct -
The principled demagoguery
Of a pained reclamation
In this unjust and disturbing time...
