In The Afternoon siesta we rummage through our life as man and wife.

In the afternoon
when all is done
and the kool
of the day
envelopes our tunes
we hold hands and wonder
of the warmer days ahead
when all is finished
and get to know each other better.

until then our native tongues
must eat the dust and sing as harps
plays amidst roses blooming
wildly in aromatic flame!!
