Forever Friend


As I'm sitting in my chair,
My mind begins to think,
Of all the things that I could write,
When my eyes begin to blink.

Much to my surprise,
I begin to realize,
That I could write a better song,
Which would help us to get along.

Getting inspired
By what I desire,
I'll share with you
What I acquired.

To the One who gives us peace,
My mind will go to another place.
My mind relaxes when
Problems are solved
And peace is restored upon this land.

Just remember that
I'm your friend,
When you're there for me,
I'll be there for you.
