The day we met
The day we met was nothing special
It was like any other day
Of an annoying experience that was forced on me
But that's not the day we actually met
It was all fake
The versions we made of each other so it can all seem okay
To everyone around us
And even sometimes us
But the day we met
It made both of us feel different
No, not different but real
Like it actually made sense
So relaxing so calm yet so exciting
And watching it go by so fast yet able to still enjoy every second of it
Like a calmed wave on a cool beach
It was that day that made us have a point again
It's that day we actually met
