The war in Ukraine
Plays out on TV
It's hard to imagine
And painful to see

The world watched in horror
As schools were destroyed
And when this war ends
There will be a big void

The Russian invaders
Are like Goliath the giant
But Ukrainians held steadfast
And were hardly compliant

Reminiscent of a story
That we have all seen
Where Ukraine is like David
In 1 Samuel 17
