Best Friend

To my best friend Steve who passed away last year. My best friend for 35 years.

There was no time to say goodbye
As I look towards the great blue sky
An honest man was put to rest
The day we met was the day I was blessed

Our friendship grew strong over the years
Best friends forever we had no fears

The world is not perfect as you came to see
But having you in my life made it better for me
When I was in need
