Is it really freedom? - possible trigger!!!

This is a tale of warning -
Freedom comes at a price;
Drinking can make one amiable,
For others, it's not so nice.

Dad had come home from the bar -
He was in a mood, you see;
Nothing was done as he wanted,
And with his fists he was free.

For some, there was celebration,
Drinking was such fun.
But it wasn't so great at home
'Cause Dad's drinking wasn't done.

The time finally came
A moment so profound -
Dad's drinking was finished;
When they laid him in the ground.
