My Sweet Love

This is a Short Story with 100 words. Thought that it could turn into a song.

On Christmas Day, I received a present. I opened it up and saw the most beautiful ring. I was excited knowing it was from my special man. He told me that it wasn't from him. My heart was broken. He almost lost me. Who was it from then, I wondered. Time and time again I pondered the thought. Didn't he love me, I asked myself. My head was full of doubt. Why did he do this? What was wrong with me? Then he said that he was only kidding. I wore his ring but didn't care much for his joke.
