Laughing Underwater

Laughing underwater.
Not a smart thing to do.
As long as you know why.
Who’s really hurting who?

All those jokes and sayings.
Spit by the ancient crowd.
Phrases I can’t repeat.
Screamed especially loud.

Someone, drop an album.
Textcast around the globe.
Club kids will break their spines.
Unskilled attempts to vogue.

The beat will be fevered.
The bass shakes your filling.
You’ll puke up all your lunch.
Stains upon the ceiling.

Laughing underwater.
The newest latest craze.
As long as you know why.
It's like a holiday.
