A poem about human nature, truth and the definition of "Right and Wrong". |
| The whole world, in one breath, Wait for the rabbit to pull out the hat A cherished utopia By billions, all blind Taken by the will to Reign over the world And all of them, in a row, Acting like robots, filthy None can see The next one starving Underneath the royal navels Each one feeling the peak Of creation, how much heresy Defying God, we create cults Fictions, stories, rules All in the name of progress And foolish harmony, But we just don't see the Forbidden fruit that was laid Right in front of us In the name of vanity, Pride, We distort the world, We create the Truth, And we don't even look back Well, who defined it? Right and wrong, Virtue and vice, Is there no pontifical? |
