I am That Child

I want to break free. So I run, run to the Lord.

Run my child, run as far as you can
You're just an invention of a mere man

Climb my friend, climb as high as you can
You'll get to the top and see all the land

For I will be with you, every step of the way
We'll run together, come what may

I am that child who runs to be free
I witness the God's and all to see

Time will not stop as I run free and far
I know about souls and all that we are

I have to run to that special place
In my heart and the human race

For like the Lord, I was here first
We shall not witness the sun's final burst

Lord tell me why we all chase the light
You tell us so and not to fight.

Lord I will run, free and easy to you
For we know the pain that life put's us through.
