Poetry in Bragi form (described following the poem). |
| Cold ground, once barren, lies beneath a frosty quilt of white. For a day untrodden, later spattered with telltale imprints of wildlife scattered. Hunter and quarry, late at night, unseen by human eyes The pursuit of food leaves some lives tattered, and snowy prints depict their plight. Hunter lives, hunted dies. Predator wins the prize. Speed and strength once more win the fight. Another innocent life is shattered. Bragi form: Stanzaic, written in 2 sixains. Syllabic: 6-8-10-10-8-6 10-8-6-6-8-10 syllables per line.
