I Have Found Him

Sonnet prompted from Song Of Solomon 3:4 (I have found the one)

I have found him, the one with whom I'm in love!
Can this really be that my heart is in captivity?
He has stolen my heart and caged it like a dove.
We sing the song of love and dream of infinity.

I am holding onto him ever so tightly.
I don't ever plan to let him go.
He belongs to me, rightfully.
Oh! How I love him so!

We pledged allegiance at the altar.
As God is my witness, I'll ever be his,
And he is also mine forever!

Our love should never faulter.
I get so lost within his kiss,
And our love will last for ever and ever!
