and the night grew long then longer our warmth lingering until the dawn

and the sun was shimmering across the water
as my eyes soaked in your shelter
as you stroked my legs and shoulders
a glimmer of hope glowing in your eyes

and the day grew long then longer
each moment recorded and savored
by the glistening moving waters
under the steady gaze from above

and the moon was shimmering over the waters
as we walked through the candle lit shelter
as we walked hand in hand with laughter
our glow envied by moon beams and stars

and the night grew long then longer
our warmth lingering until the dawn
by the glimmering waters at daybreak
our new life together begun
