A ditty in Alouette form (described following the poem). |
| I once tried to write all day and all night, but I dozed off halfway through. And what I had writ, I have to admit, deserved a scathing review. So I tried again in pencil, not pen, and strove to aim for success. Now, this time it rhymed, the was beat well-timed. But the plot was just a mess. By that time I'd grown blasé to the bone. So I just gave up and quit. I might try again another time when my noggin's not full of (s___). Alouette form: > 2 or more stanzas of 6 lines each > Meter: 5, 5, 7, 5, 5, 7 > Rhyme Scheme: a, a, b, c, c, b |
