The site wide Official contests, Quotation Inspiriation, Journey Through Genres, Short Shots, What a Character are competive contests for stories limited to 2000 words. There are usally ten to twenty great entries from all across the site. Finishing in one of top three spots requires a polished, well told story.
A three judge panel takes a few weeks to review the entrants and the top three selections are announced.
