Ode To The Earth

Oceans covered with debris
discharged through gross debauchery,
endangering natural synergy.

Too many people cannot see
obvious benefits of a tree.

Their main drive is gluttony,
here and now, without sympathy,
each man for himself, without empathy.

Earth Day shifts the focus so that we
are more aware of the bumblebee,
reaffirming God's values to some degree.
Time is passing as we seek harmony.
Heaven help us find the remedy!
