A "Minute" poem (described after the poem) |
| I lie awake too long at night and try to write a simple verse. It's quite the curse. It's okay if it doesn't rhyme. That takes more time. But I still fail. My mind is stale. If I try later, after lunch I have a hunch I will succeed. I will indeed. Minute poem rules: > 3 stanzas of 20 syllables each > Syllable count per stanza: 8/4/4/4 > Rhyme scheme: a/a/b/b c/c/d/d e/e/f/f |
