The Place In Between

The Place In Between

In the place in between the Now and Then,
we wander back to Remember When?
We visit old friends and reminisce with our folks,
we tell old stories, and remember old jokes!

In the place in between the Now and To Come
we anticipate and plot, and yes, worry some.
We hope for the best, and we plan for the worst
and pray we are blessed instead of cursed!

In the place in between Today and Tomorrow,
we focus on joy, instead of on sorrow.
We are grateful each day when we wake and rise,
as we stretch out stiff muscles and reenergize.

In the place in between the You and the Me,
we fill it with Joy, and Love, for we see
we never know just how long we'll live,
so in that space we simply give.

In the Place In Between is where we exist.
It's where we are and not to be missed.
It's in the Place of In Between
where everything happens; each moment, each dream.
