just a poem


Wings


They gave me back my wings,

Said: now, you can fly

But most of all the things

I wanted, was just a lie


A lie, I could believe

Too good to be true,

I'm desperate to deceive

Myself, I really do


They gave me wings, but just

For such a silly boy,

They knew that soon he must,

Break, his only toy
