I Swear I Had Hair

A Drabble (exactly 100 words) about haircuts.

Some hairdos don't look good on a man once his head shows more skin than hair. And my last haircut brought that scenario to life.

I used to let it grow, and comb it over the bald area. But eventually there was more bald than hair. So I tried the aging hippie look - skin on top, raccoon tail behind.

I should have accepted it, but my ego was stronger than my sensibility. And now my life has become a rhyme:

         I tried doing this,
         and I tried doing that.
         But nothing did the trick
         'til I glued on a hat.
