Restless Creature

Hollow Honey Tree

There is a creature that rests
At the heart of the hollow honey tree
He is allowed to do as the crows please

Whether he uses another until death
Or savagely rips apart the paper bones
He is allowed to kiss the weeping hearts

Sinew, Thread, Stone.

The doll people rest within a plastic home
Constantly tithing, as if the sin is their own
Destined to burn in Heaven, Alone
