From 2021 inspired by Palestine. On how we are all at the whim of the context we are born.

Welcome to the hurricane.
From the opening of eyes, 't is here you will remain.
Say farewell to law -- for law has not arrived.

Welcome to where chaos reigns.
Where the bloodbath sprung from mind of Cain
in name of order is proclaimed.

Where all that rests is destitution.
Civility but an illusion
based on narrative exclusion of those who suffer most.

Where bread-stealer a martyr is.
As terrorist so zionist
at mercy of the whims of wind is trying to survive.

Where everything you heard befell
another, well, than all is well
Then speaketh thou of grace and roared thine doctrine to the storm.

Where progress got us where we stand;
with cannonball for motherland.
Thinking not of hot red sands, where peace was once, now oil belt.

Where all the groups time bound together
felt the bite of whipping leather.
Now sodomized will aggrandize and look up to the culprit.

Here peace still reigns. But for how long?
In every rise brought on by gales
inherently a fall sits.
