2025 Pagans danced in a circle Twirling round and round Surrounding Stonehenge on Samhain Creating energy – creating The Season of the Witch Survived throughout the ages Settling in northern lands Twisting, turning, mutilating Using disguises of all kinds Mutating in the modern Changing your look – jack-o-lanterns Skeletons, green face – dangerous What happens to fear when it’s laced With pain dulled by the drink? What happens to disgust when drugged With unbelief? Take off the mask the warning goes out The trick is death of the innocent The treat is a dance with the devil in The season of the Witch 20 Lines |
