Cosmic love poem about 2 lost souls bound by fate |
|
Outlaws of the Endless Night By: Emberly Gray We were fugitives from quiet lives, two sparks that wouldn't stay in line, stealing time from dying suns, laughing where the laws unwind. Your hand fit mine like contraband, a weapon, a vow, a loaded plan- If the universe came crashing down, we'd burn together, make a stand. We outran grief at light-speed bands, kissed danger where the void begins, With wanted stars upon our backs and forever inked beneath our skin. No map but trust, no safe return, just ride or die, just live and learn-- Two outlaws carving love in space, teaching galaxies how to yearn. So let them hunt us, let them try-- We'll fade in fire, not say goodbye. |
