A poem in Tri-fall form (described below the poem) |
| Sing me some words of love. Make me smile. Let me savor your lilting voice. Sing of the stars above. Sing with style. Dance with me in lyric rejoice. Sing to arouse my heart, stir my soul. Together we will bask in song, no more to be apart. Rock and roll! Let's sing as one. Let love be strong. Sing of happiness, mirth. Sing out loud. Let the music nourish your mind. Sing of love, peace on Earth. Sing it proud. Sing it for all of humankind. Tri-form: > 3 6-line stanzas > Syllable count in each stanza: 6/3/8/6/3/8 > Little punctuation is required (and can be ignored in above poem if readers so choose) |
